Help in identifying brown seed pods

HI The seed pods in thumbnail I picked up in Spain but do not know what they are - help please.

The seed pods look like Brachychiton acerifolius. If it is, be careful with the inside of the pods as they can cause a severe allergic reaction. Old trees can look magnificent when they are in flower.

Thanks for identifying my brown seed pods. Had not noticed the hairy inside - will be very careful with them. In fact I was using them as a dried flower decorative piece.
