    WA USA (Z8)
    Kurume azalea (such as 'Hino-crimson'). There is no 'Azalea japonica'.

    I defer to RonB for the accurate botanical name on this one, I should have checked the books for the correct nomenclature. ( I still think I had the right plant in mind) :)

    Might be closer to 'Hinodegiri'. Definitely a Kurume, anyway - we're on the same page.
