Hi everyone, i was wondering if someone could please help me identify a couple of different trees growing in my back and front yard. The first set of pictures, this trees leaves will turn a deep yellow color in autumn. For the second set of pictures: I know this is a crab apple tree, but was wondering if someone knew the exact species. Birds love this tree, even now there is a nest in there. Third set of pictures: Some kind of pine tree? We have two of these on the corner of the fence, and they have small red berries. Fourth set of pictures: These are mature cedar trees which grow along the fence. If you look closely, it almost appears like they have small yellow berries, i'm not to sure what you would call them. If anyone could identify what kind of cedar they are i would really appreciate it, as my dad would like to plant new ones but doesnt know the exact name. Final set of pictures: Japanese maple tree near my pond, don't know the species though. The leaves are always a green color. I'm really sorry because i'm asking for 5 different trees lol, but I really appreciate it. Thanks :)

11. and 12. It is a very finely cut leaf form of Acer palmatum dissectum. Many named cultivars. The experts in the maple forums may be able to help. It MAY be Acer palmatum Waterfall. http://images.google.com/images?hl=...fall&btnG=Search+images&aq=f&oq=&aqi=&start=0
1-5 is Honey-locust Gleditsia triacanthos. 9-10 is Arborvitae Thuja occidentalis (not cedar Cedrus; the yellow 'berries' are cones).
Michael and silver surfer, thank you so much, always wondered what these trees were. Have to say hands down you both know your trees.
