I have a few specimens volunteering and would like to know what they are before relocating them. I would just leave them be and see what developes but they are in flower boxes too close to the house. I pulled the one labeled "big flat pit" at 3 inches tall thinking it was a weed and discovered it was growing out of what I thought was a mango pit. I quickly replanted it. Now I see on the web that the leaves aren't at all like mango's. The pic labeled "unknown seed type" appears similar but the leaves are more pointed. Perhaps because they're in a different location and/or haven't been disturbed? Any help identifying these plants would be greatly appreciated.
i agree the one on the left looks like a potatoe the other sorta looks like a peony i am going from memory of coarse peony donto grow in my part of florida so have only seen them a few times. do you or one of you're neibors have herbaceous peony ? it may nto be even close to being that it could be some weed or wildflower if it flowers please show a pic. forgot to add neither is mango.
