We've got this guy in our back yard in Colorado. We've not been in the house long, but I believe it flowers in the spring and has purpleish berries in the late summer/fall. We've got some concern as the dog is eating the berries. We hoped to identify it to determine if the berries are poisonous. Thanks!
This is Aronia melanocarpa. But most likely you have black Chokeberry. ---------------------------------------------------------- purpura bacca
