On a recent trip to the Philadelphia Zoo, I was amazed by the beauty of this flower outside the lions exhibit. I asked one of the zoo handlers if she knew what it was called. She could only remember that it had the word berry in its name. The flowers where no bigger than silver dollar. The base of the plant resembled Gladioloas. The stem that supported the flower stood about 3 ft from the base of the plant. I would be most appreciative if someone could identify this flower. Thanks.
