Help Identifying a plant

    I planted this plant/ground cover? in a garden about three years ago and it is a perennial, it has a very small light purple flower that comes out a couple of times a year. It has not spread very much. I have looked everywhere and I can't seem to determine what it is. Any help is greatly appreciated.
