help identifying a plant from GG park SF

    Can anyone help me identify this plant. It is growing in golden gate park in SF in these pics...

    Welcome to this post. What you have is - Hardy Hibiscus, Rose Mallow, Swamp Mallow, kind of know by all the above. I'm North of Seattle, WA which is a bit cooler than you are and they do very well here. Much more hardy than a real Hybiscus. barb

    Yes: Lavatera. Multiple cultivars of L. x clementii in retail outlets these days.
