We recently moved into a home with a plant that I don't recognize. This picture was taken 5/14/16 in the Seattle area. The plant is about 6' tall, no thorns, no flowers or buds and it was planted in an indirect sun area. The yard was poorly taken care of, so I'm not sure if it's not flowering because of lack of care. There was a fallen trellis about 2 feet away, but I'm not sure if it was for this plant. Does anyone recognize the leaves?

Really don't know, Deb, but my first glance has me thinking it's an apple tree. There could have been an old tree cut down there and this is from the roots, or it may have been planted or seeded intentionally or not. I'd suggest you start there. Doesn't look like the trellis was for this one.
