help identify white scented shrub

    I thought it was a smoke bush, but it doesn't look like the pics I've seen. Anyone have any ideas?

    A close up of the flowers and leaves would likely help.

    It might be one of those bush honeysuckles people have been posting about lately. Some have white flowers that turn yellow.

    I see you posted a photo while I was trying to think of something. I'm sure Michael is correct.

    Really no other hardy shrub/small tree that looks like this. Even the Chinese fringetrre has a different aspect.
