Help Identify this tall flower please...

    Every year we have this 5 foot or better flower that blumes from the bottom up (about ten beautiful dark red flowers), but the other buds never blume and we know once it gets up top its done. And the pic i have it isnt in blume (june 24) its already done, but someone please help me name that flower

    A. rosea specifically. For anyone who might want to know the rest is Hibiscus moscheutos.
