My girlfriend got this plant several years ago. Neither of us have any clue what it is. It seems to be dying so we transplanted it but would like to know what it is to see if there is anything else we can do to save it. Anyfeed back would be appreciated thanks in advance to the posters.

Needs a lot more light, too. And more headroom, which won't be easy!

Artificial light or sunlight or does it matter? I have about 3 extra feet of head room give or take. If it keeps growing upwards that's fine but why are all the branches at the tips? I would like for it to bush out again... Any suggestions?
