You are correct, they will tolerate full sun, but if has been in full shade move it out slowly

[TOP 10 plants most effective in removing: formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon monoxide from the air.

    Common Name - Scientific Name
    Bamboo Palm - Chamaedorea Seifritzii
    Chinese Evergreen - Aglaonema Modestum
    English Ivy - Hedera Helix
    Gerbera Daisy - Gerbera Jamesonii
Janet Craig - Dracaena "Janet Craig"
    Marginata - Dracaena Marginata
Mass cane/Corn Plant - Dracaena Massangeana
    Mother-in-Law's Tongue - Sansevieria Laurentii
    Pot Mum - Chrysantheium morifolium
Peace Lily - Spathiphyllum "Mauna Loa"
    Warneckii - Dracaena "Warneckii"

Live indoor potted plants are the only thing that is removing the bad air and replacing it with oxygen. The A/C only removes the dust and if it does bring in the outside air, it can still as bad as the indoor air.

when you bring it inside, you'll want to keep it in as bright light as you can - so that when you bring it outside next season, it won't have too much adjustment to make.

whenever you move plants inside/outside or in reverse, you need to do it gradually so that they can adjust to the changes in the light levels without being thrown into it all at once as that will cause them to go into shock.

temp changes also need to be done gradually as well. i move plants in or out during the time frames when neither the heat or the a/c is on...basically i mean that i do the switching when the windows are open and the temp in the house is the same as what it is outside. i do the moving when the night-time temps are no lower/higher than upper 60's (for some plants you can use mid-50's as the temp cut).
