when you bring it inside, you'll want to keep it in as bright light as you can - so that when you bring it outside next season, it won't have too much adjustment to make. whenever you move plants inside/outside or in reverse, you need to do it gradually so that they can adjust to the changes in the light levels without being thrown into it all at once as that will cause them to go into shock. temp changes also need to be done gradually as well. i move plants in or out during the time frames when neither the heat or the a/c is on...basically i mean that i do the switching when the windows are open and the temp in the house is the same as what it is outside. i do the moving when the night-time temps are no lower/higher than upper 60's (for some plants you can use mid-50's as the temp cut).
