    Might be a variegated Tradescantia.

    i looked up a variegated Tradescantia and it doesnt have the color or the consistancy of those plants perhaps another guess any one???

    looks like a wandering jew to me, also (tradescantia family).

    Ya that is a variegated wandering jew .. it will root in no time ... and it loves the sun .. if it dont get enough light it will look really spindly ..you dont even have to root it in water .. ya can just stick it in the dirt .. when that piece gets a lil longer you can chop it down a bit .. and stick it in the dirt .. make the pot fuller .. dont worry about not being able to root it .. trust me it will ...lol
