Please help me identify what appears to be a fungus, but it may be some type of egg cluster? Found on a tree in eastern Pennsylvania, a white-yellow dome-shape about 2.5 cm diameter, thin outer layer protecting a pudding-like interior. Please see attached photos. Thanks
