Help identify a plant (possibly from Japan)

Hi, I need help identifying this plant I often saw in Japan, but it might also be from another country.

I was also wondering what are some good websites (or shops that can ship to Canada) where I can get some Japanese or other Asian plants or seeds?

Currently known as Gomphocarpus physocarpa.
