Help ID - very small pine

    beause it's very small, I'm really in doubts regerding what it is. any ideas and why? thanx

    Probably Pinus nigra, but can't rule out Pinus heldreichii (the bark looks more like that, but it isn't a very commonly planted species and [is this a self-sown sapling?] not recorded as regenerating naturally in Britain).

    What's the situation of the plant? Planted? In a garden or not?
