I moved to my duplex last october and this spring these plants came up along my house. I'd like to know what they are so if i want to dig them up i know where they belong.(sun/shade) not to mention my mom wants to steal a few!
The Green plant has some leaves that are about up to 8" wide and the stalk is about 10" tall.

They are in a bed of white rocks and they seem like they would like shade.

Two very nice Hosta. Someone else will have give you the names
as they are slug/snail/deer candy around here.

They are both Hosta varieties and appreciate moist but well drained soil in shade or partial shade.
