Identification: Help ID this mushroom, Thanks!

    It looks like an Agaricus of some sort, but I'm not familiar with this one.

    Yes, looks like a kind of Agaricus, but which kind? That's what I want to know.

    Hi there,
    Does it smell of mushroom, almonds, bandaids, or...?
    Does it bruise yellow?

    It smells mushroom, but not much yellow I can see.

    My guess is that it is the wild version of A. bisporus, the cultivated mushroom of commerce. You would need a good microscope to confirm it.

    You know what? I ate one, cooked in veggie soup. Tastes nice, but not super good. I still want to know what kind of mushroom it is exactly. Thanks for all input.
