This just popped up in my yard this morning. Altogether it covers about 3 square feet. It is growing under Norway spruces that have about 4 inches of woodchip mulch. The woodchip mulch is a combination of Ash, Black Cherry and Blue Spruce.

If this is not safe I would like to remove and safely dispose of it.

    Thank You.

Is there an effective means of getting rid of Mutinus elegans?
