I feel like I'm wasting everybody's time with this one because I used to know the name, but it seems like I forgot. I do not believe it is an acacia, but similar. I live in Gulf Coast Central Florida, and the tree is about 8 years old give or take a couple years. As you can c it is a very large tree about 30 feet or so, and it bears the distinctive hard black oval shaped pods. Its not currently in bloom, but if I can't recall it has small quarter size round fluffy ball like white blooms.I've included several photos of the shallow root system an image of the entire tree to Scale an image of the pods and an image of the leaf structure. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
