Hi Everyone, So, I have been charged to look after some plants, one of which is of particular importance. I tried my best, but it wasn't given to me in the best condition, and I ended up killing it. Now, like a ninja, I want to try to just replace it with a new one but no one can figure out what it is. It's a plant with stocks that look like it separates into "digits" sort of like on fingers. The individual stocks don't seem to branch too much off the main stock (but I could be wrong) and don't seem to have a lot of tensile strength (could be because the cells are dead/flacid). There are only leaves that sprout laterally on either side of the stock and they are relatively small and look like a traditional leaf (I guess -- nothing special about the leaves). They seem to have a light wax on the leaves, but nothing significant like a jade plant. Similar to just a regular tree leaf (excuse my ignorance) but seem waxier/fleshier than one would expect from such a small plant. I know the picture isn't spectacular, but it is all I could muster. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks a billion.
It looks like it was a Peperomia. Which one, I'm not sure - I have a hard time telling them apart even when they're healthy!
