1. Reminds me of Ajuga reptans variegata. 2. Looks like Iberis. Not sure which one. Is it a perennial or an annual one? It may be Iberis amara. common name Candytuft. http://www.google.co.uk/images?hl=e...ris amara&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi http://www.google.co.uk/images?q=ib...sc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi 3. Looks like Spiraea. Possibly Spiraea X vanhouttei. http://www.google.co.uk/images?um=1...=f&aqi=g1&oq=&gs_rfai=&q=spiraea x vanhouttei 4. ?
Thanks! I believe #2 is perennial. The guy that had the flower said it had just bloomed for the season.
4. The pic is confusing me. Are the green leaves underneath the leaves that belong to the white flowers? Is the brown scrambling stem connected to the flowers or not? 2. I have given you a start... over to you to do the rest! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iberis 3. Close up! http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgu...earchBox&rlz=1I7SUNA_en-GB&ndsp=20&tbs=isch:1
The leaves are connected to the white flowers. I found these behind my house in a patch underneath a pine tree so the stem you are seeing may be pine needles.
That is really funny. Right, pine needles! Thanks for clearing that up. I was thinking of Sedum but couldn't pin it down. Thank you Saltcedar for coming to the rescue. I am not familiar with Sedum ternatum. The flowers are really beautiful in close up. Hmm! Wonder if we could grow it here. Good luck with your project ArmorForSam and welcome to the UBC forums!
