Help, I was out watering my annuals this morning and noticed my donald wyman crabapple tree, approximately 2 years old, looking rather droopy in the leaves. Upon closer inspection, found the leaves in several spots have brown round spots on them, about the size of a thumbtack head. Rainfall here in northeast ohio has been average, it has been hot and humid here the last 2 days, but is cooler and less humid today. I did trim off some suckers a few days ago at the base of the tree and accidentally cut a small root at the surface. Could that have damaged the tree or maybe some kind of infection like a fungus is present. I thought this tree was resistant to disease, it's in a sunny spot all by itself. Thanks for any info.
