Please help me. My Capsulum plant seems to suffer, more and more leafs get weak and hang down. What's causing that, how to solve this problem?
Where exactly are these plants growing? They should be planted in the soil outdoors in full sun. There appears to be way too much "stuff" interfering with light and air circulation.
They are indoors, they reached that size inside my apartment. Just since two days, this development has started. A matter of light, or water, or something else still?
Fusarium solani is known to grow indoors. It wouldn't surprise me if you have that or some other watermold (Phytophthora capsici )attacking your peppers. http://aces.nmsu.edu/pubs/_circulars/circ549.html http://www.gardenguides.com/91232-treat-phytophthora-root-rot.html http://ag.arizona.edu/plp/plpext/diseases/vegetables/pepper/pepdamp.html
Thanks for the new suggestions and links. I followed them up. My location is Jamaica, and the problem occurred at the same time with peppers inside different pots. Sure it's a fungus? I will continue to observe. By the way, two of the five plants affected seems to recover now, hopefully they will continue doing that.
Yes, might be. I have to confess, I have (not yet) any good feeling for how much or how less water to give to plants. If I use too less or too much water, I couldn't tell the difference, usually. Here it might have been too less water.
