The cactus that I had delivered two weeks ago, is really very large Euphorbia
3 stalks were broken off one of them and one off the other
Do I try to root them as if they were cactus? And how do I treat the plants that still exist? Do I still refrain from watering them for 5 weeks?

yes, you can root the broken pieces. if it's been two weeks, then they've dried enough to plant them now. let the newly planted pieces sit in the soil medium for at least two weeks before watering.

the main plants can certainly last at least a month before watering.
