    Hello everyone.

I am a fresh gardener and am trying to work on my first garden project. From what I read, bearberry (kinnikinnick) seems to be an excellent ground cover for my purpose: native plant, dry tolerant, easy care, pretty looking. However I cannot find a supplier selling it in Canada.

Does anybody happen to know where I can get this plant, or seeds or cuttings so I can try to grow my own. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Here's a Google search for [GOOGLE]site:.ca "arctostaphylos uva-ursi"[/GOOGLE] -- it nets a number of suppliers (particularly on the second page of results, didn't proceed past that). Some of them are selling the cultivar 'Vancouver Jade', a selection made by UBC Botanical Garden.

Thanks for your reply, Daniel. I checked the websites you suggested, and haven't found one that I can directly order or ship with affordable fee yet. I guess I will keep looking, or maybe wait for a while and hope the local garden center may carry it.
