    Hi,
I planted 12 7' Areaca palms in my backyard about 7 months ago. They were looking relly good then I noticed a couple of days ago what poor condition they were in. Most of the froms are turning, or have turned yellow and are looking wilted. I thought it maybe due to the winter. All help appreciated.

Hi Mike Do you have any pics of them? How offen do you water them? How offen do you feed them? How Cold did the temps get? And is there and new growth? Is the new growth yellow or green. Alot of times the cold temps will kill off the outer most fronds while the inner most fronds are protected and the outer most fronds can be pruned off and left will be lush green fronds.

    Hope This Helps you,

    Thanks Tom,
Yes, you got it. I think it was the cold snap. My neighbour had about 10 palms planted the same time as me and her's are in the same condition. Her landscaper told her they would improve when the season starts getting warmer.
    Thanks again,
    Mike
