I have had my jade for three years now. Never any issue, but I just moved last month and now it is having issues. Since last week about 15 leaves have turned black and fallen off. I plucked of any leaves that had this problem but it continues! I water once a week, and the soil is a mixture of sand, gravel and potting soil. It’s usually about 80 degrees and has decent humidity and is in a south facing window. Please help I don’t wanna lose her.
Hi, some possibilities. If leaves are turning black are the stems/trunk also? If they are, then its over-watering and rot might be setting in. You mentioned you moved, before the move was the plant also in a south facing window, cause if it wasn't and now its moved to a higher light / temperature it needs time to adjust. The leaves falling might be the plant adjusting, give it time to acclimate. Also succulents / cactus would rather have hot dry air than hot humidity. Any indications of pests? Hope this helps.
