    Hi everyone..

New to the forum, not new to gardening, but looking forward to learning a lot here. I am most interested in native plantings.

My first question is about salal. Does anyone have any tips for transplanting it? I have read that I'd be better off buying it potted and that a potted plant would likely establish much more quickly. Any truth to this? Also, I have an arbutus that I managed to plant and grow about a foot since last year (it's about 3ft tall now), I have kinnikinnik around it, and some salal, any other suggestions that would go well? Thanks in advance for any input :)
