We have put in a new driveway and sidewalk to our new home. We are looking for a small hedge about 5 to 6 inches high to put around the edge of it. A flowering one would be nice. Does anyone know of one?I am in zone 4/5.
I planted lavender to make a low hedge about 3 years ago. It seems to take well to pruning to keep it low (mines about 8" high). The flower spikes shoot up another 12" higher, but I cut them back right after they're done. It looks great.
Okay, That's short. Almost a perennial border size. Do you know what Thrift is? Also called Sea Pink? Very nice fine foliage when the flowers are done.
