Hey all, so i found this plant in a friends garden a couple weeks ago, and cannot for the life of me figure out what it's called. Ideas? (its the one that is right next to my foot, heart shaped leaves, dark green, in the middle of picture)
Welcome TomRiddle. Looks like Viola riviniana Purpurea. Common name wood violet. http://violets.free.fr/Photos bis/viola riviniana purpurea.jpg http://www.google.co.uk/images?q=Vi...sc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi
Nurseries often sell it under the synonyms V. labradorica and V. labradorica 'Purpurea'. The true V. labradorica is a tiny thing with green leaves native to the far north.
