Hey all, so i found this plant in a friends garden a couple weeks ago, and cannot for the life of me figure out what it's called. Ideas?

Nurseries often sell it under the synonyms V. labradorica and V. labradorica 'Purpurea'. The true V. labradorica is a tiny thing with green leaves native to the far north.
