Last February, we visited both Oahu and The Big Island and I took so many photos, including so many plants which were growing wild - without name tags. I'd get IDs in botanical gardens where possible, but many were not possible. So I'm submitting a series of photos, a couple at a time.

The red flowered plant was found around Kilauea, on the Big Island; the purple one was in Honolulu, close to sea level. Anyone out there familiar with Hawaii flowers?
