I came across several of these plants growing close together. At first I thought it was a Xanthium as the leaves are very similar to Xanthium italicum. After seeing the inflorescence and noting the height of the plant and other particulars, it was clear that it wasn't a Xanthium.
The flower made me think that it was an escaped vegetable plant. Help appreciated so that I can eradicate as a possible spontaneous wild plant.
