    Hi,
I've been looking for how to save seeds from my cilantro plant for replanting. I found directions for harvesting if I wanted to eat the seeds, but didn't know if it was different for keeping them viable. I harvested half the pods when they were still green and set them out to dry, and left half on the plant. Any advice?
    Thanks!

I was wondering about this too. I took my cue from nature and harvested mine when they turned brown and then dried them some more indoors. I won't know for sure how they will germinate till next spring, but the ones that escaped and fell on the ground have germinated and grown into small plants already. I am guessing the frost will kill them, maybe more will grow in the spring and save me the trouble of planting seeds.
