Hello, I am looking for some basic information on this wonderful plant. I am having trouble finding any online.

I got it from the SF Cactus and Succulent show today...
I saw it and fell in love with it, any information would be great.

    thank you!!

    You've been bamboozled.

You've fallen in love with an impostor.

That's not Hartmanthus pergamentaceus (previously known as Delosperma pergamentaceus).

Its not a even Mesemb or any kind of succulent at all.

What you have there is a fancy cultivar of the common garden "Coleus" (Plectranthus scutellarioides).

The plant had no place being sold in a Cactus & Succulent show.

I hope you did not pay a lot of money for it.

Interesting! The plant you shown in your pix looks very much like a Coleus (Solenostemon) I once had. Solenostemon scutellariodides 'Kiwi' seen here:
    http://www.ces.purdue.edu/CES/Marion/HortNews04Aug.htm

Neat plant! Never heard of the name you gave, so went looking.

Seems the spelling is off a bit...should be Hartmanthus pergamentaceus (Delosperma pergamentaceum). The only photos I can find of it are dried specimens & they look nothing like those in your pix.

Found a description of it as "sharp-edged silvery leaf". I don't know what you have there, sorry.

Thank you.. i thought the same thing about the Coleus. I looked at the tag that came along with it and in really light writing, it does say Coleus "Fire"! but the other side said Hartmanthus Pergarmantaceus. I guess the seller was trying to recycle the tag =)

anywho, so about this Coleus... im guessing its not a succulent and i found it at the Succulent and Cacti show (so my thoughts were its an interesting succulent)

    thanks again, for the info's.

If anyone else has moer info on this, that would be fanatasic.
