Identification: "Hairy Thing" What is it please!

Pacific Spirit Park, Oct/08, growing on log amongst moss, sheltered by ferns. About 2-3 inches tall. There were several in various stages of hairyness.

 

Can't tell what the mushrooms are, but I think that the hairy things growing on them is a species of stilbella.

Coincidence, no? :D

Looks like mouldy fungi - one fungus parasitic on another.

 

That's pretty much what it is!

 

Absolutely clear. I found a Google image of Stilbella that was exactly the same. Thank you both of you for your responses!

 

If you find out which Stilbella species it is I'd like to know the name.
I have a photo of it and was wondering too.
