Identification: "Hairy Thing" What is it please!

    Pacific Spirit Park, Oct/08, growing on log amongst moss, sheltered by ferns. About 2-3 inches tall. There were several in various stages of hairyness.

    Can't tell what the mushrooms are, but I think that the hairy things growing on them is a species of stilbella.

    Coincidence, no? :D

    Looks like mouldy fungi - one fungus parasitic on another.

    Absolutely clear. I found a Google image of Stilbella that was exactly the same. Thank you both of you for your responses!
