Identification: Grubs

I keep finding these grubs in my garden. Does anyone know what they are? On Vancouver Island.

looks like a beetle larvae

could be one of the scarabs such as June beetle or chafer beetle

best to get someone who knows to look at the overall insect form usually June beetles and chafers have distinct bands of hairs on their posterior

You should compare your larvae to photos of black vine weevil you find online.
