Growth on tree branches

    We have some young trees in our yard/woods that have some odd white 'bulbus' growths on the branches. I would like to know what they are and should we remove these trees? Thanks!

    Do you know what kind of trees these are?

    Possibly, these are galls caused by red bay psyllid.

    Relatively harmless, if that's the case -- leave the trees and the insects as-is.
