I have heard that there might be some sort of "miricle grow" for cedar hedges out there but not sure, and don't know the name if there is one. We presently have an emerald cedar hedge growing along the edge of our driveway, (about 3' high) and would like to somehow speed up their growth rate. Can anyone help me out here? Thank you!

from miracle gro you may be thinking of the Miracid product, now available as miracle gro for acid loving plants and changed ever so slightly in analysis from the original 30-10 -10

personally I prefer somewhat slower releasing granular products for hedges. even, dare I say it, some lawn foods..... (make sure they are time release type, as you can burn easily if you use an improper dose) when fertilizing at this time of year, make certain to water your plants thoroughly the day before fertilizing, this should help reduce the rapid uptake of water with salts if their has been a drought period.
