Groundcover with pink flowers

Hi

I hope someone can help me - I'm looking for the name of this plant.

It grows in England (I was there in Aug), and it grows in South Africa. It looks pretty hardy to me and if I can get it here (Atlanta, GA), I'd love to plant it in my garden!

I've attached a photo of it, so you can see what it looks like.

Welcome Lizzy. Looks like Centranthus ruber. Common name Valerian.

Wrong plant JenRi. This is the problem with common names There is another plant which has the latin name of Valeriana officinalis.. It is this I think you mean. It looks completely different .

Eeeeeek oops, sorry everyone! Oh well I shall remember that for next time - thanks for putting me straight Silver surfer, its good someone knows more than me and can correct me when I go wrong!
