I saw a few of these odd-looking plants growing on bare spots on the savanna of the Ndop Plain, Northwest Province, Cameroon. The leaves, as you can see, grew flat against the ground. The plants were a few inches wide, at most. None were flowering. Any ideas? David http://birdstack.com
