Identification: ground cover?

    I bought this plant at home depot in the ground cover section. They didn't know what it was called. I haven't been able to find out any info online.

    Also on the last picture, what is the green mossy plant growing in the corner.

    The pictures I found online look very similar to what I have. Will it thrive below a cedar hedge?

    I have not grown the plant, but it certainly tolerates deep shade. O don't know specifically about the cedar hedge.
