Identification: Green leaves w/ yellow spots & stalks

    Please help me identify this plant. There are four soft-ish stalks with bark. They are about 15 inches tall with green and yellow spotted leaves. The flowers grow out on a new growth and burst open after 4 days or so.

    I thought it looked like a narrow leaf Codiaeum. Common name Croton. I assume this plant is a houseplant.
