I have picked some green Hazel nuts and have stored them in a warm sunny room to ripen, prior to picking the nuts I was informed that this was a better method of harvesting the nuts rather than waiting for them to ripen and drop. I only took 50% of the nuts from the bush in order to leave the rest for wildlife. Have I been advised correctly?
