    Hi,

We have a green grub in our lawn , which our pure bred beagle thinks is her desert (ice cream) ?

I'm very new to this web site and hoping someone can lead me to a site or knows information about these grubs which are green about the size of a thumb nail and surface in the fall October, Eastern Canada, Nova Scotia, Southshore area.

    Thanks for anyone's help.
    Regards,
    Tim

My recommendation for any and all insect questions is the most excellent:

    http://bugguide.net
Type in 'grub' in the Search box (upper right) and you will see a veritable cornucopia of grub photos.

And I found this fascinating site whilst looking for information:

    http://www.pestcontrolcanada.com/Questions/What is this pest.htm

I daresay that one of our arthropod mavens can and will ID your grub. However, if they are all experiencing computer catastrophe or off orchid-hunting in the Himalayas, send a photo to one or both of these sites.
