Our Norway Crimson maple has been hit with a green residue on the underside of the leaf. We think fungas. most of the tree is affected. Green area is extensive on leaf not spots, only underside. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you could post a photo, that would help pin down what the trouble is.

You've probably been having much the same kind of wet, chilly summer that we have here in Maine. I seem to have weird growths popping up on everything. By and large, the trouble seems to be transient and non-lethal.

Will try to take a picture and post it. Very cool summer hear until the last 2 weeks. I suspect a fungas, the tree is all green going up the trunk. Hopefully we can treat in necessary for next year. A ver healthy tree with lots of sun.
