Hello! Found this small plant flowering this Spring. I am in northern VA, Blue Ridge mtns, plant was found in disturbed area where I have put plants from local native nursery so is likely native to VA? Hoping! It appears to be similar to a very fine blade of grass with 2 leaves, the brownish leaves. One pic shows close up of flower, the other is the best pic I could get of stem. Thanks for any suggestions

Thank you I think you are correct! It is a Luzula! But the species is much more difficult isn’t it?! At least now I know it is a rush and is a native! Thanks!
