I have a grapefruit tree that grew in the bottom of my fridge in Canada I planted it in a large pot and put it outside in the summer time where it would really take off when it came time to bring it in I had to trim it as it was too tall for my living room the second year I put it out it had a bad dose of aphids and also grew real tall so again I trimmed it and treated it with pesticides the third year I decided it was time to pack it up and bring it back down here to Fl. wrapped it in damp newspapers and put it in a plastic bag ( roots ) and planted it in full sun then put it on slow drip for overnight did that for 1 week seemed like it took root the leaves were nice and shiny when we came back the following year it again seemed like the leaves were healthy but it developed aphids again so again we treated it with pesticides and the leaves again became nice and glossy this year when we came back it looked real healthy but with the drought we have here I gave it fertilizer and did the water thing but it doesn't seem to be responding the leaves are yellow and are dropping off is it going to die? is there something I can do for it? any help will be greatly appreciated also we are planning to move can I dig it up and replant????
