i have one. want it to grow in a fruitful tree.

    how to start?
i see the posts of people who already have a tree. havent found any that would tell me whether i should put it in the soil or just germinate in some wet cotton or so...

    many thanx

Either way will work. I keep them between a moistened paper towel until they start to germinate at which point they're transferred to the soil. Getting a grapefruit seedling to bear fruit could be difficult. There have been many past postings on that subject.

    thanx.

when is the best time of the year to germinate the seed? i have been keeping it here for few weeks, it has got a bit shrunk.

and: after it germinates, how deeply should I plant it into the soil?

Citrus seed can be sown at any time but best when fresh. Planting about 1/4" below the soil surface will do.
